The David Hayes trained Seattle Lass ran right up to her trackwork
to win the Allan Scott Park Handicap at Morphettville this afternoon.

Seattle Lass on her way to victory
Zooming
across from the extreme outside barrier in the 12 horse field, Nicholas
Ryan always had Seattle Lass well placed in third place.
Coming
into the straight she launched a strong challenge and easily overcame
Danedina and Snip Esprit to win by three quarters of a length.
Tony McEvoy, filling in for David Hayes who was at Rosehill for the Golden Slipper, was full of praise for the win.
"There's a stakes race here in Adelaide in three weeks time which will suit her", he said.
Regardless
of whether she competes in that race or not, Seattle Lass is well up to
Melbourne city class and is likely to be seen interstate before too
long.
