David Hayes is one of Australia's foremost trainers having already shot to the top of the national trainers table by number of winners since returning from 10 years in Hong Kong in 2005.

With stables at Angaston (South Australia), Flemington (Victoria) and Randwick (New South Wales), Hayes has carried all before him this season.

By winning the world's richest two year old race, the 2006 Group 1 $3 million STC Golden Slipper with Miss Finland, Hayes has highlighted his stable's prowess with two year olds.

However the David Hayes stable has had success with many older horses, including three time Group 1 winner Barely A Moment.
