The Cyberhorse Racing Club is somewhat similar to a football club. For an annual membership fee, we put a whole team of racehorses on the ground for you to follow.
Traditional racehorse ownership relies on just one horse to grow up, be competitive and stay sound for long enough that the owners get at least a "fun dividend", even if the horse does not pay his way financially.
A horse purchased as a yearling typically takes a year to get to the races and then on average races 7 times a year. That's 7 days of excitement in the first 2 years of horse ownership for most owners. At $10,000 for a tenth share and $6,000 for your share of training fees in the first two years, you are looking at a bit over $2,000 per race!
In contrast the Cyberhorse Racing Club has 18 well bred horses, some of them already proven winners, with many trained by Australia's top trainers such as David Hayes, Gai Waterhouse and Peter Moody.
At a cost of only $399 a year for our Gold Membership package, that's a lot of racing activity for members to tap into. We treat members as if they are the owners of the horses, getting the inside stable information exactly as it comes from the trainer, supplemented by additional reports from Cyberhorse's team of racing journalists around the country.
The Cyberhorse Racing Club is managed by Cyberhorse. The horses raced by the Cyberhorse Racing Club are from well pedigreed families and are selected for their suitability for racing. All commercial risk associated with purchasing the horses and having them trained and cared for is assumed by Cyberhorse, so your annual membership fee is all you have to pay.
In return, Cyberhorse will have first call on any prizemoney earned by the horses while racing. Any surplus of prizemoney over and above expenses will be used to procure more horses for the Cyberhorse Racing Club.
Unlike most racing syndicates which only last as long as the horse, the Cyberhorse Racing Club is an ongoing operation with new horses being added as resources permit. Cyberhorse's intention is to have many horses active at any time in order to maximise the activity level for Cyberhorse Racing Club members.
Membership of the Cyberhorse Racing Club will entitle the subscriber to -
- Password protected information about the horses updated weekly when in work
- Subject to ballot, owner type privileges such as racecourse attendance, stable visits, trackwork etc.
- Access to Cyberhorse Racing Club merchandise
- Social activities such as racing industry functions
- Depending on membership level, a package of other products and services which will enhance members racing experience
The Cyberhorse Racing Club operates under our Membership Rules which can be found here.
